X-ray of Lance Armstrong’s shoulder after surgery
Lance has been patched up and says he will be ready for the Giro D’Italia and the Tour De France. Although he may have trouble getting through airport security with all of that hardware in his shoulder.

I broke my collar bone about 6 years ago. Based on the picture and x-ray in your post, Lance had a worse break than I did. The break shouldn’t effect his riding, but I think it will hurt his training. It will also cost him some sleep. I don’t see how he can be in top form by the Giro.

Floyd did it in 2006 with a broken hip. But needed a small boost.
Lance has no luxuries.
