I came across these two creative pieces of bicycle related artwork that I wanted to share with my readers.
The Bicycle Typogram is an image of a bicycle formed by the names of the parts of the bike. The artist is named Aaron Kuehn and information on it can be found at his website. He sells a variety of limited edition prints.
The photo collage map of the United States made of street signs was done by Julia Lovett, a Georgetown University Student. Every state has a roadway named for it Washington D.C. Forty eight of the states have an avenue named for the state. California has a street and Ohio has a road. The connection to bicycling is not obvious for the map. Julia rode her bike around Washington DC and photographed the street signs for the map. Here is a link to a larger version of the map.
