Has Lance’s Luck Run Out?

By spokesman | March 24, 2009

Shortly after Lance Armstrong announced his return to cycling, I wrote a blog post entitled “Lance Needs To Be Good And Lucky“.   The point of the post was that although Lance is an incredible athlete, he was very lucky that a serious mishap that didn’t robbed him of a victory.  The post includes videos of close calls from 2 Tours De France.

Now that Lance has fallen and broken his collarbone, his comeback is in jeopardy.  That coupled with the fact that Levi Leipheimer beat Contador in a time trial today may mean that it is Levi’s year to win the Tour De France.

You don’t need a $9,000 custom-fitted Trek Madone 6.9 Pro bicycle to dislocate your shoulder. Not in DC.
