Nation’s Triathlon Registration Opens

By spokesman | December 1, 2009

Registration for the Nation’s Triathlonbegins today.  It will be held on Sept 12, 2010.  This event has sold out for the past few years, so make sure to register early if you are interested.  The bike route last year was great and included several roads that are usually not accessible by bike.  That are rumors that the course will be even better this year.  In order to accommodate the very large number of participants, the route may include the wider George Washington Parkway instead of Canal Road.

The Nation’s Triathlon has been so successful, organizers are looking into holding another Washington D.C. triathlon in the Spring.   That event would probably include both Olympic and Sprint length triathlons.  I will post more information when it is available.
